As someone with Irish heritage, I’m a bit unnerved that America’s reign of “white privilege” has meant the overlooking or erasing a lot of the troubling things my ancestors did or experienced.
I feel like I’m going to get some shit for this. But yeah… totally agree. Granted some things change, the Irish, the Polish, and Italians (jewish can be debated) are now more socially acceptable in American society and thus ‘privileged’. (BTW I HATE THAT TERM, but I’m using this in the sense can easier fit the mold society wants of them just based on race.) But we can’t forget that these groups were treated like SHIT in history. People need to open a history book before they say shit. Also Not enjoying this whole which minority group can get the most pity…. It’s not a pity party. It’s called we should spot out injustices on ALL sides and work to fix it. Stop with this us verses them.
View Larger that’s why Steve likes Tony so much, he’s like capitalism personified
XD the fact that this matches what I am learning in History class is to funny….

Current Trend Crush: Knots | Say Yes To Hoboken
With all the amazing fashion websites out there now, the internet has removed the confusion that fashion can be these days (what’s hot?! what’s not?! how do you do that top knot thing that all the cool girls are wearing?!) It has also made me look at my clothes and think about how I can re-style what I already have in my closet instead of going shopping. I love all the knotting that is going on these days - especially knotting maxi skirts!
edit: now with the link!

HAHAHA I figured y’all might enjoy this because we get a lot of messages about “so-and-so looks so much like famous-actor” and IT REALLY IS QUITE EERIE SOMETIMES!
